hey guys i was reading a post about a heater core, and i have a 98 ram with 5.2. my heater does not heat up very hot, it warms up slightly but i wouldnt consider it a heater lol. im not leaking anything into my floor so i wasnt sure about the core, if anyone has a suggestion or have seen this i would apprecaite the info. thanks alot

 

If your coolant level is adequate, check your thermostat. Probably stuck open.


A tell tale sign of an open stat is the engine temp gauge will not climb as high as it normally does.
