yeah but adjusting it one way or the other will affect how it shifts... it may be worth playing with it a little. didnt you say (I forget now) that you have the death flash? or is that someone else?

No i don't, thats why i split the threads, too much to keep track of. Now i don't know if it's the shifts or the lockup thats causing it. But changing the TV won't affect the lockup.

I have the same problem, especially if going up hill. Right around 50 mph (around 1800 - 2000 rpm), mine shifts into OD (dropping to around 1500 rpm) and the engine struggles... bogs down until it hits about 55 - 57 mph. I literally have to stomp the gas or take it out of OD to down shift. I don't though as i'm trying to save pennies at the pump. However, my truck will barely go between those speeds. Its very frustrating.

Has anyone come up with a solution? I've changed plugs, wires, rotor, distributor, belt and cleaned the injectors. Please help.

If i didn't know any better, id say it was locking as soon as it shifted to 3rd and 4th, So when it shifts to 4th, it locks and the engine lugs with such a load. Maybe, bad lockup solinoid?

I tested the TPS voltage, and it's .6V at idle. I was thinking about replacing it. But i'm not sure if that'll do it, what else contributes to lockup?

without the truck running. with the key in the on position, the ideal voltage is .7 - .75
