Default Best mods

I am wondering what the best mods are that would help to wake up my truck. it is a 2001 1500 with the 5.2 and a 5 speed tranny, i have a flowmaster 40 series exhause single outlet

Heres what i was thinking:
hypertech tuner
high flow cat
different air intake
those mods would cost about $1000 new right?

What if anything will happen to my mileage with these mods?

Also how big of a difference do throttle bodie spaces make?
and headers, i was looking at gibsons

my recomendations... K&N CAI, 50mm fastman TB, yank the intake and put a plenum kit on and cut the runners down 1~1.25", open up the injector bores and clean up the throttle body opening. then gibson headers.

M1 intake manifold, K&N cold air intake, fastman throttle body, gears, etc. The throttle body spacer is a matter of opinion. I've tried a helix throttle body spacer on 6 different trucks and seen good results. Some say it works, some don't.

Throttle body spacers do work. They just don't work on direct port fuel injected engines.

If money isnt an issue then the best mod is supercharger. Seeing 35-55% rwhp increase is hard to surpass even with many bolt ons
My 360 saw about 125rwhp gain without tuning when I added the Procharger last year.
