96 V10 engine problem
96 Ram 2500 HD V10 manual trans. 4x4
Last week while pulling a trailer (weight ca 3tons), engine all of a sudden lost power and the speed dropped from about 55mph down to 35mph
Without trailer, engine loses power and surges when rpm goes over about 2500.
Runs fine at idle and accelerates good on lower rpms. Check engine light did not come on and I am not getting any error codes on a scan tool.
Fuel pump had been replaced about 6 months or 5000 miles ago.
Anyone have similar problem or suggestions what could cause that??
