I have a 1999 Dodge Ram Sport 1500. I recently changed the battery in it, and ever since, the alarm has been giving me fits. It is the factory alarm. Now, anytime I open the door when it has not been locked, the alarm will go off until I hit the unlock either on the key fob or on the door. If it is locked and I unlock it, then open the door, the alarm does not go off. Also when I used to lock the truck, I would get one "chirp" along with the light flash, but now it does the "chirp" and light flash, then a secong later another "chirp" goes off. I have tried doing some of the things the owners manual said, but I haven't had any luck. Thanks in advance for your help.
