Default pinion bearings

im convinced that the noise i hear is a bearing noise coming from the rear. i replaced the axleshaft bearings with no luck. a little while ago someone mentioned that it could be my pinion bearings. anyone have any info in this? is it an easy fix?

It is not an easy fix. You will have to remove the axle shafts and the differential from the housing. You would probably be better suited taking it to a shop that specializes in rear-end work and making sure it is the pinion bearings before you spends the money to fix it. If it does turn out to be them, I would have a shop replace them, alot involved.

It's a big pain to do them yourself.
