SeaFoam is typically around $6 per bottle (16 ounces). Available pretty much much anywhere.
The vacuum line of choice is typcially the brake booster line. According to the webpage for the motor treatment, you should use 1/3 to 1/2 of the bottle (repeat as needed).
Than, you can just pour the rest of the bottle into the fuel tank.
The thru-the-tube will clean the valves and pistons. The in-the-tank will help clean the injectors and valves to an extent.

I've read up about Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner/Conditioner. Sells for about $6 + tax from dodge dealers. Tells you to take off the air hat, and spray entire can through the throttle body valves (there are more instructions, this is just a summary). People say they've gotten good smoke shows and felt improvements. Anyone tried this and sea foam to make a decision on which has worked better?

I used both and their both good. The Sea foam does wonders cleaning the engine when added to the oil, but I wouldn't run it very long in the oil. Put it in run it for a bit and then change the oil and filter. I put 1/2 a can in my oil and half in my gas. When I changed my oil (100 KM's after) the oil and filter had lumps/chunks in it. The Seafoam didn't seem to do much for the fuel system, but I had just replaced my plenum gasket and had cleaned the combustion chamber/fuel rail/injectors/throttle body with mopar combustion chamber cleaner. I used some regular carb cleaner on the throttle body first and thought it was clean until I used a little Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner. I need to buy some more of it. I'm not to sure how safe the MCCC is on everything, but if you want something cleaned WOW! I really would have liked to have known about it before joining this site.

For the same amount of money spent
adding a good fuel injector cleaner to the tank
usually does an overall better job than using Seafoam.

Go to this weblink
and read the post about 3/4 the way down
by Mr P Body
who claims to be a Chrysler employee
who was assigned to test all currently available commercial fuel injector cleaners:

http://tinyurl.com/oxldj

quote from Mr P Body:

"I did the testing for Chrysler fuel lab and ALL the
different items tested there was only one that worked
well and now we have it under the MOPAR brand at your
local dealership. All of them used alcohol for the
base product and it doesnt do any good on the problems
that occured with the 1000's of injectors that I
tested. I would go and get warrenty injectors and
do a base flow on them and then run them through
the cleaning process then do a final flow on them.
I would see a warrenty injector at about 80% - 85%
of its max/total flow and clean them and after
I would see about 94%- 97% of the origanal flow
(factory spec.)
The reason we would see these 80% injectors and
nothing really worse was at about 80 to 85% the
people would complain and the dealers would change
them"

HankL I can't argue there. The only reason I used the Seafoam and MCCC was my Plenum gasket leak. I've always had excellent luck with using Chevron gas and the odd fuel injector cleaner. I've just had to get a little creative lately as I moved and don't have a local chevron. I know it's probably just in my mind but my vehicles just don't run the same without the Chevron gas I used to run.
