I have a 97 ram 1500 V8 2WD. When first starting truck in the morning cold putting it in reverse it makes a noise like power steering is dry but its not. The noise sounds like its coming from transmission. Does not make the noise in forward position and when the truck is warm the noise does not happen when putting in reverse. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks

As stated in that thread there is a TSB for this, put most mechanics agree that it is normal. I'm pretty sure there is no real fix to this though.
