I was working on my truck and grounded out the hot wire from the alt. on the fuel rail,now the won't start. I was told by a mechanic that the ECU was bad, so i bought a new ECU. Took it to the dealer to have ECU flashed and installed, now they are saying that my Cam Shaft Sensor needs to be replaced. Has anyone had this problem before.

 

havent had that problem but the cam sensor is easy to swap...it sits under the cap & rotor.
