My pop just bought a 2000 ram sport with 5.9. If it rains over night the truck will not start in the mornning, he has to floor it to get it to go. I know that the 1 gen trucks need the distributor and wires sealed to prevent this problem(atleast that's what I've found), do the 2 gen trucks have a simaler problem/fix?
Cheers

K, I had the same problem. And when it does start it ran rouch for a lil while. My problem was my wires and plugs were bad. My wires would get moisture and it took a while to dry out ( the reason why they ran rough) After being warmed up, ran like a dodge ram and not a ford. Try replacing your plugs and wires. I did with mine and it runs just like she should be.
