marvel mystery oil questions

Okay and just to confirm, for the next oil change, is it safe to put 4.5 quarts of regular oil and 1/2 a quart of marvel mystery oil? Is it safe to leave the MMO in there until the next oil change?

yes it is. I'd go with a full quart for the next 3k miles then switch over to synth. it'll clean up the internals nicely.
Gary, can you post your pic of the inside of your motor before you pulled it for the rebuild?

Is there only one MMO, or is there one for oil treatment and one for the gas treatment? I have a hard time buying anything to put in my engine that is called "mystery oil", but I may try it. First, I am going to try the Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner.
I have used the BK44 in the past and highly recommend it. Never noticed any difference using it in the Ram, but it made a noticable difference in a Camaro I had back in college. Ran smoother and had noticably more power.

I was skeptical too but figured what the hell, "i'm one with my motor" so if it messes it up, I know how to fix it. turns out it was one of the best things I could have done to it. lifter noise... gone... ran smoother pretty quick. and this was with only about 12 oz in the crank. thats why i recommended it to T (daughter) and she ended up doing a full quart in a 4 quart motor (honda) and got significant improvement in mileage 23~25 to 29~31, consistantly.

I perfer the engine Restore (it comes in three different sizes 4cyl, 6cyl, 8cyl) at each oil change for cars over 75,000miles

Overall, if you maintain an engine properly, it will last for many thousands of trouble-free miles. My Cavalier is proof of that.
my 2000 360 motor had 180~185k on it when I sold it and it was rock solid... ran mobil 1 15w50 for the 60k miles I owned it and the only additive I used was the MMO for 1 oil change. the last time I did a comp check on it it had 155k on the clock and all the cylinders were at 150psi and above.
with todays oils, I dont think you need anything other than proper maintanance. I think the MMO is good for cleaning the motor and should be used 1~2x year. it would be interesting however to see what T's motor looks like under the valve cover...

can you buy MMO in canada? cause I've looked everywhere for it and I cant find it. my truck just failed the e-test and maybe that stuff will help me pass.
