time to freshen up my Sport...
Well, this week I sold my Miada (the black one in my sig picture), So I'm back to 1 street car (still have the track Miada [8D] ). My Ram has been my work truck since I bought it last year, but now will pull more duty as a daily driver. I would like to 'freshen up' the Sport, and looking for suggestions. My budget is plan is $1k max. Since it will still be my tow vehicle for weekends at the track, drivability and comfort are also important.
Here's my short list:
1) new shocks (still originals at 93k miles)
2) tune up (plugs, wires, cap, coil) I would like suggestions about what plug to run since i will be towing...
3) throttle body
4) front axle u-joints (driver's side is bad)
5) Speakers to replace dead on in pax door
Headers seem to be pretty cheap on ebay. Are they cheap for a reason? lol I already have a flowmaster muffler thanks to previous owner.
I do all my own work, so labor cost isn't an issue. Can you guys offer any other suggestions?

If it's an auto, do you have a trans cooler? If not, I recomend one since you will be towing.
A good trans flush (if auto) would be another suggestion, along with servicing your diffs. I would avoid the ebay headers. Gibson, JBA, and Edelbrock make good quality headers.
As for plugs, OEM replacments should be fine, unless you find yourself pinging when you are towing. Then try something one temp range cooler, like the autolite 3923.

I do get a little bit of pinging when I tow, but not if I use premium. So yeah, a colder set of plugs would probably be better.
I'll most likely hold off on the header for now. And yeah, I'm sure those ebay headers were cheap for a reason

I think another item i'm going to add to the list is an alignment. Truck seems to want to wander a little on the highway, and the off center steering wheel is bugging me...

I like my women the way I like my coffee...... ground up and in the freezer.

I like the hemi, sport, nice color. Ever think of going extreme on the wheel/tire combo (wider with a lot of bling)?
No, no bigger tires/wheels for now, and i'm an anti-bling person. For the most part I'm all about function. If I did upgrade, I'd probably get the wheels powdercoated black...
