Default HELP! Need max tow limit...

Hey I just bought a short bed single cab ram 2001 1500 with the 5.2 V8 Manual 5 speed... I didnt come with a owners manual...

Does any one know the max tow rate, or some towing tips for the manual????

It should tow a jeep without to much of a problem. I have to drag my fathers 92 f25 aroound town everytime time it breaks down which is quite often.

Yes, a 1/2 ton with a v8 can tow a Jeep with no problems. You're well within your tow rating.

Should have about 1400lb payload, 8500-8800lb hitch with 12500lb gross combined rating give or take.
Is this a one time thing or a regular tow? Strap, dolly or trailer?
R/C S/B will get pushed around by a trailer, class IV weight distribution will give you a lot more stability.
