Help! Replece NV231J ON 241D-HD
I need replace NV231J on 241D-HD with PTO in my YJ. I have manual transmission AX-15 /from YJ/ with 23 splin output shaft and transfer case NV241D-HD from Dodge with input shaft 23 splin. The sizes of "23 splin" are a litlle beat diffrent. What kind of output shaft I need to buy?

Whats different? Diameter or legnth? If its to long you can cut the needed acount off usually. I'm suprised they're diffrent. I really doubt your gonna find the a shaft for the AX-15 that has the diffrent Dodge splines since they never used AX-15s. Probably looking at either an adapter or running something else other than the 241.

Diameter.
Transfer case is 1999. Transmission is 1988.
