What is the biggest tires and wheels you can put on a 99 4x4 stock . That won't rub.

285/75R16 should fit...I have these with a leveling kit, but they should fit anyways. I know that you can get 265/75R16 no problem because thats what I had before I leveled it and got new tires.

I have 285's on my 99 now. Thedy didn't rub at all with the stock rims, but did slightly with my new rims while turning. My body guy was able to pull the fender well back somehow, now it doesn't rub at all. The guy I bought my truck from had 305's on the stock wheels and they rubbed slightly while turning as well. Hope this helps.

You can get 295/75/16 on your stock wheels to fit without street rubbing. It will rub a little off road but not bad. I heard one of the salesmen at Discount say that they put 305/70/16 on stock Rams all the time too which is shorter than a 295/75/16, but wider.
