Default Question on Off-Road Pkg and level spacer

I've got a 2001 1500 4x4 with the Off-Road package. Do I have to get longer front shocks if I get 2 inch spacers for the front springs? What else do I need to make it work? I heard that the off-road package has stiffer springs in the front but that's the only difference.

the off road package sits 2" higher than the reg 1500 and it has the tow hooks, bigger gas tank, skid plates, 4.10 gears, etc. its is basically more setup for offroading than the stock package

to answer your question no you will not have to have longer shocks for the leveling kit

correct...i have a 2" spacer on my SOR and i didnt need longer shocks.. it does yank back abit on the front axle b/c of the stock length control arms.. but nothing to worry about unless your running something bigger then 33's... im running 315's and rub a wee bit..

there is a small aftermarket for stock style control arms 1/2" added for the lift that we have on the OR's but they are stupid expensive..eventually when i get time i gonna make my own adjustable LA's .. well kinda LA's..
