i recently purchased a 96 ram 1500 4wd with a blown 5.2l and a manual transmission. This will be my third 2nd gen dodge truck. i have had 5.2l in all of them and i am not all that enthused with their performance compared to my dads 95 5.9l ram 1500 4wd. i am tempted to replace the 5.2 with a 5.9 but i am not sure what else i would have to replace other than the computer. can you guys tell me what other components will need replaced if i decide to put a 5.9l engine in it.
