Default Ball Joints

Hey guys I recently took my truck in to get a squeak checked out that I just couldn't locate. The guy told me I needed to grease the ball joints, but I don't know how to go about doing this. Anybody got any advice?

The factory ball joints are the 'sealed for life' type without a zerk grease fitting.

You can buy a needle like end for a grease gun
and gently insert the needle between the rubber seal lips.

There is also a 'self tapping' zerk fitting (sometimes called a 'thread forming')
that can be drilled into the center of the top plate.
