Used tires?

Does anyone ever buy good used tires? I think, rather than lift my truck, I'd rather go back to stock size tires. I've had BFG AT 315/70/R17's on it for the last 12,000 miles, they still look practically new. Anyone have any idea what I could get out of them to put toward a new set?
