330,000+ on my '97 Ram 1500 w/ the incredible 5.2L and an automatic.
The engine and tranny are original, with no major work... Two water pumps, one radiator, that's about it aside from routine maintainance... I can still smoke tires and I have big 34"s with a 3.55 rear...
Not my truck, but it's famous amoung my friends. 1994 Chevy(I know I know, it doesn't really count here) with 548,000 miles on it. The original 5.7L 350 motor ran up until last year when it died at just under 500,000(my buddy was p**sed). You know what the ultimate demise of this engine was? The cam lobes wore off. I've got a picture of the cam after we tore it apart to see what happened. It's pracically round. That motor is an excellent testament to a good maintenece program and synthetic oil.
