I got a code about 3 months ago and had to replace the speed sensor ,,,, now this week the tranny is shifting in and out of first gear until the rpm get up and it goes on and shifts fine .... every few days while in OD my rpm will go up and down but it doesnt do it all the time .... Does anyone have any suggestions

 

ok today it didnt want to shift in any gear ,,,when the rpm get up it shifts ,,, called shop, there going to pull tranny next week

 

took to tranny guy he drove it for a while , he thinks it is a selnoid so he replaced it with filter change for $188.84 .. it didnt downshift on my way home but i havent driven it much , i hope that is it if not i will be out another 1200

 

well i was pulling my 16' trailer today when the overdrive light came on well 5 minutes later the trassimission over heating light came on so before we could stop i had lost all gears ... Ever truck i have changed the fluid in the tranny seems to go out within a few days later ....i changed it at 60000 then at 120000 and have had problems every since the last change ,,, i am so disappointed
