Default 3.90 GEARS ANYONE?

I was wondering if anyone had a set of 3.90 gears front and rear for a 97 4x4 dana 44 front and 9.25 rear. I currently have 3.55 and went from 265's to 285's which killed my mileage, 17/18 before to 13/14 on highway. Or can someone lead me in the direction of a vendor that carries them. Ive checked summit and jegs and both carry 4.10's but not the 3.90.

What about 4.10s. There are several makers, yukon being the one that I'm looking at, even though I'm going to get 4.56s. You can go to yukons website and find vendors.

Definetly look at 4.10s instead. 3.90 would not even be worth the cost of the swap.

Thanks for the input. How r the 4.10 running on the highway? I do alot of highway driving a 1100 mile round trip once a month. Thats why I was considering the 3.90 not to go overboard with the gears. Thanks again.

4.10's will not be overboard at all if you have 285 tires. That's what I run, and I have gotten 16 mpg on highway. I don't have a tach, so I can't tell you the exact RPM difference between stock tires/gears and 4.10/285's, but I know it is only a few hundred rpm difference at 65 mph. Search for rpm calculator on this forum, and yu will see what I mean.
