I realize this subject has been covered a million times...I did a search and didn't find anything

My truck is getting on in years and I'm gonna get rid of it after plow season, but I would like a little more sound out of my exhaust before I get rid of the truck...maybe a louder muffler on the cheap. Any suggestions? Thanx guys

 

"A little more sound..." compared to what? Stock?


I've never plowed but, would plowing with loud exhaust get 'tiring'? Just asking. A "little" louder would be fine, I guess. Maybe even safer when backing up, becouse people would hear you?
How about a "turbo" muffler, or glass pack? Both cheap at local auto parts stores.

 

if you just want some extra noise...a dewalt drill and a nice size bit could do wonders to your current muffler...im not sayin its gonna be a nice sound...but it will make it louder

Cheap and loud... if that doesnt scream glasspack I don't know what does. Personally I have the 5.9 and a 24inch cherry bomb after the cat, cheap yeah, but sounds great to me and is loud, but not annoyingly loud
