Default Ignition issue-- FIXED!

This is related to my other thread about my cluster issue somewhat. (LINK)

Here's the short story:

1 Month ago:
-Truck is working fine with Bulldog remote starter, all systems normal.
-Someone tried to steal my truck (again), ignition/column completely destroyed.
-Garage fixes truck, only when I receive it I now have to turn on the parking lights (and or headlights) to power up the ignition.
-Garage appraiser tells me that YES a kill switch was installed. I accept the kill switch as a security measure for now until...

Today:
-Garage tells me they never installed a kill switch, and that it was like that before [>:]
-Appraiser dude tells me to disconnect my remote starter because that's what's causing it, he had the same problem with his Civic! ....bull
- I have a remote starter that works only when I turn on the lights. Why did I buy a remote starter again? TO REMOTE START THE TRUCK!

When I pull the light switch, the blower motor relay clicks (under the hood). I don't remember it doing that before. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Sounds like they f'ed it up pretty good. I dunno what to tell ya, wiring is such a pain in the putt! Has to be something with the "kill switch" or another short.

No matter what they say I'm with you, its they're fault and they screwed it up. Sucks you can't prove it and MAKE it their problem.

I've given up talking to the garage now. I spoke with the manager this morning and his explanation is bs too. He says that a kill switch must have been there before but not working, and when the thieves messed up the ignition the kill switch started working again. They basically didn't finish the job. I will get to the bottom of this.

Fixed! And it was the garage's fault. They didn't replace the ignition fuse under the hood. It went bad during the attempted theft. I handed them the dead fuse and they basically admitted fault and gave a free one. Last time I do business with that place I tell ya.[:@]
