Default 2000 Quad Cab Pass. Door?!!

My truck was hit in the front end by some bone head making an illeagal left turn. Its in the body shop now. The passenger door was only scratched a little bit from the front fender being pushed into it. The scratch is not that bad but the door has a little rust on the bottom. I figured I would have the body shop fix the rust at my own expense being that it wouldnt be covered from the accident but they said it would be better to just replace the entire door to insure that the rust would not come back. Then they told me to replace the door and paint it would cost $1,600.00!!! They said the door by itself is $950.00!! Does anybody know where I could find a cheaper door? I have done countless searches and all I come up with is reg. cab doors. HELP!!

someone nailed my truck and i bought the entire bed of my truck for $500 less than what it would have cost to fix it.

I thought about going to a junk yard but I live in Ohio and most likely any door I would find would probably be in the same shape if not worse. I mite just have to though. Thanks

try a wrecker in the west coast, or arizona or some place like that. Things don't rust out nearly as fast in dry climates. If you go to a local wrecker you may just get the same problem.
