Default heater/vacumn trouble

hey guys,i have a heater/vacumn problem.when i first start my '96 1500 ram the heater/ac controler works fine.it blows air to whatever area is selected, defrost, floor ect.after driving for 1/2 hour the air ceases to come out of any vent although the blower is working.i have changed the heater/ac controler and still have the same problem.checked the vacumn with engine running and it seems constant.checked again with engine off and it very slowly looses vacumn.checked the vacumn lines for leaks and am baffled.any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Did you replace any of your check valves? It's possible that you do have a cracked line somewhere and not until the truck heats up do you experience problems. I have a 95' and I replaced every inche of hose a few years back. The difference was night and day.

Vacuum can be tricky to diagnose.

Good luck with your ride.

Check valves can be gotten at ANY autoparts store. They are not a specialty item. I think there are only 2 on our Rams.

Good luck with your ride.
