Default Another light bulb question (PIAA vs. silverstars)

Well, I'm thinkin some brighter bulbs for my 01, non-sport ram might be nice to have for xmas...

I was previously leaning towards the sliverstars, but saw these PIAA's that looked promising. A friend of mine also said that the silverstars won't work in a headlight where it's one bulb for low/high beams...any credibility to this statement?

As for the PIAA's, I recently saw them in a 4wheel parts off-road adventures magazine, and they looked pretty interesting. Here's the link to them: http://4wheelparts.com/4wp/products/...hting&man=PIAA

So, my questions are:

Can I use silverstars in my non-sport headlights?
Has anyone tried the PIAA bulbs?
Which bulbs, if any, will give me that bluish color that the headlights of bmw's and other high-end cars have?

Thanks in advance!

P.S.- Segways are fun.... I got to ride one on saturday at an event where we were demo'ing our robots.

I have 9004 Silverstars in my 1997.

The piaa's are 75/100's. Eh technically not DOT approved, but you basically get brights for lows and super brights for brights.

Why do you want that blue color? Even HID's don't really look blue. It's just because they have a higher kelvin temp. usually 6000k and up get bluer.
