Default front end popping

Hey guys, new to the forum. Had a Durango for a long time, just bought a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 Ext. cab. It has 189k on the truck. Just replaced the right fr. hub. Now I have a popping noise in the front end when I hit bumps occasionally. Usually more noticable at low speeds and when turning. I was thinking it is the bushings on the 4 arms, that go from the front axle to the frame. A friend of mine said they go bad and will pop, but they are hard to check. Just wanted to get some feedback from everybody, and ask the best way to check those. Thanks!

first have someone wiggle the steering wheel back and forth while its on the ground and watch each part of the steering linkage to see if its got play in it then lift up the axle and shack the tire up and down and see if theres play in the ball joints

jack the truck up and wiggle the tires from side to side and check the tie rod ends.

I alreadychecked the ball joints. I do have some play in the steering.I think a lot of that is in the colum (bushing). I have never had tie rod ends pop like that.
