Some guy sells 3 core brass CTD radiators on eBay for around $265 (IIRC) or so. That's what I'm looking at.

I couldn't find a 3-core or I would have gone with that. As far as which cools better, a brass radiator will last longer.

Lasts a lot longer than plastic, that's for sure. I've got a jury-rigged repair for a 12" crack in the left tank so wide you could look into it. Epoxy and 2 modified hose clamps ... lasted all Texas summer and is still holding strong. I'm keeping my eye on those 3 cores though ... for when it finally lays down on me.

Hell, you're just down the road from me on I-35. Must be some tough epoxy if it's holding up in Texas heat. Go brass. You'll never regret it.
