This is what I plan to do for a front bumper, and I recommend it. First take off you stock bumper. Than mock up your dream bumper out of cardboard, tape, tip ties and put it on your rig. Or put it together piece by piece on your rig. Make adjustments to the cardboard till you have the bumper the way you want it. Leave the cardboard bumper on a few days to make sure its what you want. I plan to then buy the metal and fabricate it myself. If you dont have the tools to do it, find a friend or a welding shop to put it together for you. Im sure it will be much cheaper, and you brag to all your friends about how you designed your own custom bumper.
