Default AC question

Heyguys I got a quick question for ya'll that has got me stumped. Lately when I'm running my A/C (yeah I live in Georgia. It's like 80 during the day here in December) itblows cold, but then when I hit my brakes, itblows real hot for a minute. Then it gets cold again! And sometimes it'll get hot just when i let off the gas to slow down. This crap's infuriating! Anybody got anything for me?

Sounds like a vacuum issue to me.

I would replace both check valves and see if that doesn't cure things. The loss of vacuum allows the blend door to swing loose for a moment and now heated air hits the cool air. DO the valves first. If that don't work, then check the lines.

Good luck with your ride.

Do a search in the forum for "vacuum leak" ... you'll find a wealth of tips and data about where others found their leaks. Those are usually a good place to start looking.
