Default mopar wires, 94k miles

Is this usually a sign that the wires are up for a changing if they say mopar on them and the trucks got 94k miles? Unless of course the previous owner put on mopars but these don't look anywhere close to recently done.

Original wires?
You can test them with an ohm meter if you want to. Or, you can just replace them. How's it running?

Kinda rough idle after 15 seconds, power is ehh, not sure if its because 285's with 3.55's or other stuff. I'm going to be putting in new plugs this weekend with my friend's dad, his backs not so great so I don't want to make him do wires for me, I'm sure I can manage that by myself.

BTW how would I test them? I've got a multitester even though it is quite old. I think I learned from physics class you put it in parallel with resistor? lol

Long overdue to be replaced. Get new wires and check your plugs.

about the wires. I hear MSD Super Conducters 8.5mm are the way to go? Correct me if I've got the name/size wrong.

And yes I am expecting to see some pretty bad looking plugs this weekend.

Ok just picked up 8 Autolite 3923's along with a 180 t-stat for future installation. I'll have to do more research about wires

Hi Ripto, maybe it's time for a coil, it's at the time where it will leak or isalready leaking. They can quit with little or no warning.

msd, taylor, jacobs are all the same wires. these will last longer than mopar oem. as far as plugs, champions, autolites belong in fords (imo). coils, i keep a spare in my truck even with a new msd coil in it.
