Default Steering gear box install help

I have to replace my steering box, I know my way around a truck pretty well and have plenty of tools but I've never done this. Is there anything that I need to know that I might run into? any advice will be taken.

PRETTY EASY JOB TO DO JUST DID MINE TODAY . REMOVE THE TO PRESSURE LINES ON TOP AND REMOVE THE PITMAN ARM AND THEN THE THREE MOUNTING BOLTS. ASSEMBLE IN REVERSE ORDER AND FILL WITH STEERING FLUID TURN FULLY TO BOTH SIDES TO BLEED OUT AIR AND CHECK LEVEL. 1- 1.5 HR. JOB IF YOUR MECHANICALLY INCLINED.

the truck should be jacked up and not running when turning the steering back and forth to get the air out.

add fluid as necessary

go rent a pitman arm puller from autozone. its free, you just gotta put down a deposit. makes life easier.

also, while the box is out, do NOT cut the wheel any further than you would normally turn it. if you do,m you will rip your airbag wiring harness out. i know...

Also. I would bungy the steering wheel to the seat so it doesnt move and ruin your claock spring
