Default Hughes or Fastman

My next mod is going to be opening up my throttle body. Notice lots of people love the fastman. Looked at hughes website and it listed a throttle body port job at $165. The fastman was listed at $250 plus$80 core charge. I plan on sending in my stock throttle body. Just wondering if its a good idea to save some money and go with hughes or should I just go with fastman. Does anyone know if what the two companies do is differnent? Also, I thought I read in a post awhile back that DF members get a discount at fastman, is this true?
Any info would be great.
Thanks

Okay thanks. Is the 219 after the core return, or before?
Also, looking at you sign, I would recommend 4.56s, the gearing will be the same as stock.

Yeah before, he charges $219.95 + $80, then you get the $80 back when you send in your old throttle body

I have the Fastman TB, and the Huges plenum repair kit. Can't say anything about the Huge TB, but I love the Fastman's 52 on my 5.9. My vote would be Fastman.

Ripto, you finally got the 52mm. How are you liking it? Any regrets that you went with the 52 instead of the 50? Jeff.

Actually I haven't driven around with it much yet, only about 12 miles so far. Now that I installed it, my semester ended so no more 20+ miles everyday lol, would have been good time to test it out though for comparison =(.

Just still worried its not going to deliver where I need it, ya know. I talked to Dan about possibly switching over to a 50mm and he said drive it around and talk to him after the holidays. So it seems he is willing to let me exchange if by chance this one wasn't the best choice. Good guy I tell ya.
