Well it hasnt even been year since I got rid of my 00 1500 Sport and I already want another one. Saw an 01 2500 long box reg cab, diesel, auto with 144000 on a local lot. They want $20,000 and some change Canadian. Does this price seem decent? From what I can tell ya, but I dont know about the history on the truck yet. What kind stuff should I look out for in this model? I know I hated the auto in my 00 to death, and it will be the first thing I try out on the test drive to make sure the tranny is in decent shape. Anything else? Suspension/drivetrain wise? Thanks guys.

If that's 144000 km's (as opposed to miles) that's not a terrible price for a cummins, though if it's just a "jobsite special" with no options you should see about knocking the price down a bit. That's about US$17000 at $0.87CAD to the USD.
