well I looked at my truck tonight and I got 16 in tires on it. I guess I'll be looking for 33x12.5 for 16 in rims. Where do you guys go for tires every site I've looked at says they don't have that size. i just want an idea on what price I'm gonna be looking at.

16 inch wheels use a metric system, so a 33 will say something like 305/75/r16 (really true to size 33) or 285/75/r16 ( like a 32)

yea, it all depends though on the company and such. so a 305 might be closer to like 34inch or something. easiest thing to do is measure your tires and measure the new ones with a tape

I was having a hard time understanding this myself. BF Goodrich dosent make an all terrain in a 35" tire for a 17" rim. The mud terrains I was looking at are 35x12.5. I really want to get an all terrain tire but the biggest size is a 315/70 for the size rim I want. So if I understand correctly, the 315 all terrain will be the same size as the 35x12.5 mud terrain?

Within 1/2" either way. Most tires that advertise 33, 35, 36, inches are usually slightly under anyway.

Ok, thanks. I am going with the all terrains instead of the mud terrains because most of my driving is on pavement, It will save me a few bucks too!

I think it was about $2500, maybe a little less.I'm getting theFabtech 5.5" kit. They included the alignment in the price also. Just ordered my wheels and tires thru 4 wheel parts for $1400 which included mounting, shipping, and lifetime road hazard replacement on the tires. I think I got a good deal on the package.

305 is going to be quite a bit bigger than a 285. Your local tire shop can convert the metric to standard or visa-versa for you. I think 33 will be around a 295. Google "tire size converter" and you should be able to get something to convert sizes for you there as well.
