Blowing fuses
I have a question and maybe someone can direct me in the right direction. My truck stated blowing fuses.
But it only blows one and a certain way. It blows the one that controls the tail lights and the dash lights, it only does this whenI turn on the dome lights using the headlight swith when you turn it to the left to make the dome lights come on. I have had the truck going on 3 years and it has never done this before until now. I replaced the standard 15 amp with a 25 amp and it still blew the sucker. Nothing has changed in the truck to where I would have an exposed wire that would be shorting out that I can think of. Has anyone ever had to deal with this before or any advise. Thanks for the help

A: only do the bigger fuse thing once, you risk frying wires.
B: now that you have done that, you have confirmed that you have a short to power, or some kind of heavy draw, somewhere in that circuit. Time to start tracing the problem.
Start by testing the wires with a meter, if not there, test the switch, the dome light itself, and any other"draw" on that circuit. Have fun! LOL
Honestly, from the way you describe the way it blows, sounds like a problem with your switch to me, but I could be wrong. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am
