Default New Stereo in my Ram

Just finished putting in a new stereo into my Ram. I got the CD Player for Christmas and ordered the mounting kit from www.crutchfield.comand I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. This evening after work I hooked everything up, removed the old stereo and installed the new one. Everything went painless and the new stereo and Infinity Sound system sounds awesome. I love it. I will post some photos of it later tonight or tomorrow.

If anyone is needing to order an adapter or anything, go to www.crutchfield.com and they'll take care of you.

I have the Infinity system in my truck too.

Today I was headin' down the highway with the tunes cranked and ended up blowing the speaker in the drivers door. I call the Dealer to see what a new speaker would cost and they quoted me $236.48 for just ONE speaker!!!!!

I haven't pulled the door panel off yet to take a look, but can anyone tell me what size speaker goes in the door? Hopefully they are 6x9's as I already have a nice pair of Sonys that have been sitting on the shelf for years.

The front should be 6x9's with the tweeters up top and the rears are 5 1/4. Yeaa the price of the speakers to replace is rediculous. You can buy all four that'll sound better (and somtimes even get them installed) for less than the price of 1 speaker from the dealership, with you installing it haha.

Rem308. Did you have the Infinity system before you installed everything? I just put a Kenwood head unit from crutchfield in my ram with the infinity system and my tweeters don't seem to be working? Just wondering if you had a similar problem or what might be my problem.
