I have a 96, 2wd with the 360. There's a noise coming out of my engine when i rev it in neutral or when I get on the gas when I have it in gear. It's kind of a whining/whistling noise, not very loud, but kind of annoying, like all other mystery noises are. I made sure there was no air leaking between the TB and the filter box, as I just replaced the rubber seal between the TB and the filter, which eliminated a whooshing sound obviously because of the leaking air....any ideas on what it might be?

 

I have lots of high pitched noises coming from the truck somewhere when I'm driving along, don't have a clue what they are.

 

is your intake stock or do you have a k&n or similar?

 

Its the stock intake..but i'm planning on changing it
