Default problem with front end on 2000 4x4

Ok the wifes truck a2000 dodgeram sport extended cab4x4 has started to make a nice clunk noise up front, has some vibration that comes into the cab, I drove it and its worse when you turn almost felt like the rotor might be the culpret or a u joint.

I jacked the truck up and the offending side is the RH
with the wheel still on I can pull up and down on it and push the entire assymbly in and out of the axle,
Im thnking its a bearing in the axleWhen I removd the tire I could see the yokethat attatches to the the steering knuckle is visually moving up and down and in and out when I move it so it seemsthatsomething internal to the axle is jacked up.

Also the LH side is nice and solid no movment at all.

I havent pulled one of these apart in a long time and I do not have a manual for the truck Ima corvette guy so im used to half shafts independantsuspensionsand dana 44s on a car!

Dont hate me because I have corvettes

anyway any help on this is appreciated maybe someone canpoint me in the right direction and whats a good manual for these? I buy the GM shop manuals for the vettes id like to get something like that for the truck any idea where I can get one?

thanks

Here ya go, Happy New Years, may not be the same truck as yours but the concept is all the same.
