Default Tires and leveling kit question

Ok soI posted in another thread about needing tires but I figured I'd start my own now instead of jacking the other one. I have found out that a 285 is actually a 33 which is what I already have. Now I have been told on another forum that I can fit 35's on my truck with a 2" leveling kit. Now my questions are is this true? and as long as I go with a 16 in tire i can still use my stock rims correct? and wheres the cheapest place to get a kit? I found a set for 119.99 which seems to be the cheapest so far

You should be able to fit 35's on your truck with the leveling kit AND TRIMMING YOUR FENDER. You will rub the inner fender otherwise. If I remember right, there's someone on eBay selling some leftover tuffcountry kits for $80 something, but don't quote me on that one.

Try Dessert Rat.. for tires.. they got so decent prices..I got my combo there.. 315 12.5 16 =31" they told me the same about 35 will rub. I used a Skyjacker kit for 415 at JEGS. shocks where seperate about 35 a piece hydro. The 3" kit has the spings lower front links, bigger bump stops with add a leaf at the back.. now. I have a problem after putting it on the front still sits low.. so i got a 2" leveling kit for the front.. Hope my steering box arm reaches.
