Well I did it. I am now on a leash.
j/k I got the ring for the gf and as of midnight we have been engaged.
Was a great new years party and a better new years once we got home.

congrats!!!! i too recently got engaged so i really hate to hear that! j/k it feels good to know you found someone to settle down with1 hope you get along with the in-laws

 

........... I found that an "open ended" engagement kept me the happiest ...... was over three years before we called it off

i made mine wait 8 years to be sure. all together 14 years and doin ok, but the only things we can be sure of is death and taxes. you need to know when to stand firm and when to give. my wife "FORBID" me getting a tattoo on my neck, i have two on my neck. she never forbid me again. each to there own good luck
