Default front end alignment

my trucks got about 95000 miles and ive never had an alignment. it drives straight. hasnt got any noticeable wear on the tires. my steering wheel points to about 1 o'clock though. should i get an alignment anyway and will it take care of the steering wheel?

Good job on the miles without an alignment. If the tires aren't wearing and it drives good keep on trucking. If the steering wheel bothers you they will straighten it when they align it. Couldn't hurt to have it checked though. Unless you get a new guy that is learning, then it might be worse when you leave. Your call....

Actually, it could be any of several issues, ranging from the cheap and simple on up...

1) Perhaps the steering wheel needs to be pulled off and reset, and that fixes it (this does involve the SRS airbag system).
2) Perhaps a front end piece has worn out (such as a tie rod end) and needs replacing...
And a fair number of other things could be the cause.
