Default V10 Performance

Anybody know of any performance chips for the 8.0L V10. I looked quickly at Superchips and BullyDog. No go. Any other ideas?

The only performance module/chip I found for the V10 is made by JET P/N 90013 (stage 1) and 90013-S (stage 2). Their web site is Jetchip.com
I purchased the stage 2 module for my 1996 3500 4X4 dually and did not really notice any difference in performance.

So I take it you didn't see the 100-150hp improvement that the diesel guys get. Any difference in mpg? What do you average for mpg?

Thanks for the input.

No gas engine can get 100+hp from a chip. Diesels can due to the compression ratios and other things. The jet chip is okay for 15-20 if I remember right, but it basically just cheats the fuel mixture and engine temps, not the best way to make power. The best thing to do is to have your PCM re-flashed, here's a link: http://www.bgperformancepcm.com/ . Also, do some searching on this site, this is not the first time this question has been asked.

If you want the crazy big HP #'s, swap in a 24valve CTD. As soon as mine is paid off, thats the first thing I'll be doing! I'm going to get one out of a wrecked bus, that way I get an Allison transmission with it.

If you haven't allready... put in a K&N cold air intake. I was very happy with that improvment and was also good for .5 mpg extra.
