Wipers problem

Default Wipers problem

Might be a problem dont know. My wipers sit when on int. about half way or center of my windshield. Is this right? my First dodge truck.

are you talking about when they're off like in your pic. You can actually pry the wiper off the gear and reset it to where you want

Thanks Bud Ill try that and see if I can get them straightend out. Will they go all the way across after i do this?

when they're off, they will sit lower than when on and just down. mattyge is right that you can just reposition them, just make sure your switch is turned off.

to adjust the 'park' position..

mark where they are now with a piece of tape.
pull the wiper blade up and off the windshield, pivot it as far back toward vertical as it will go.
there is a small tab at the base of the wiper arm, pull it away from the pivot shaft, towards the windshield i think), it only moves a little bit, maybe 1/16 - 1/8, but that releases the wiper arm from the shaft and it will pop off. it won't pop off unless the the wiper arm is up near vertical, so it takes pressure off the spring (no matter how hard you pull on it). now position the wiper arm where you want it and push it back on the shaft.
cycle the wipers and see if it 'parks' where you want it.
