Lets hear your ram
flowmaster 50 series is not as loud as a 40 still just a tad louder then the gibson.. now the flowmaster 70 series is just above the stock sound this mite be what you want ?
well i want a nice exhaust that looks stock, and is a bit louder, i hear the gibson is great for towing gives it better power down low, or so i hear.
it just cant be ***** loud because if i was plowing snow at 3am in someones driveway at full load and my exhaust was screaming at 3000 decibles then i'd be fired on the spot, lol

found this on youtube http://youtube.com/watch?v=sKmWYraob0o gibson muffer ...
thanks man, that doesnt sound too bad, not half as loud as the flowmasters, which is good for me, i actually have a buddy who welds, said i could prolly gain alittle power by making a test pipe and taking my cat out, so im gonna try that, see how it sounds, il post the sound clips once i get it done next sat.
sounds good.. if going single run 3" pipe SI/SO and get on ebay and get a gibson tip.. now this weekend ill look for my clip when i had a gibson on mine i only change the muffler pipes was 2.5 SI/SO with a 3.5" gibson tip .....today i went with a 3" SI/SO flowmaster super 40 seires sounds good but loud...here is a clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TC6cJFvj5A
Alright, here's mine. The only things I can say about my exhaust is that it is a single 3" dropdown flowmaster with stock headers and cat. No idea what type of flowmaster muffler it is because it was installed by the previous owner.

ok i just had my buddy gut my cat for me, pretty interesting stuff in there

it had these tow blocks of cement type material with thousands of holes drilled in it to squeeze the air through when you smack it with a hammer and chisel it just crumbles. but either way, ripped it all out, and welded it back up, and it sounds great, just what i was looking for its not too loud at all, and has a nice grown while driving.
im gonna try and get a sound clip of it in a few minuts.

not a very good clip to show the sound, im going to have to make one specificly for soundclips but either way, here it is

sit for a second for startup and then fastforward to 1:00 left to hear it roll up
Pacesetter Lts
Custom 3" True Duals
"no" cat
H-pipe, cat is on the crossover tube. 3" crossover tube, with the cat so that it helps to act like a smaller crossover pipe (you want a smaller dia. h pipe than your main pipe.) the cat is on the h as well so that it doesnt interupt the flow, as well as is present for visuial inspection. otherwise the cat does nothing.
2 Flowmaster 1 chamber 10 series race mufflers.
