Yea thats about what ifigured, I'm getting 10.5-11 with my 5.9. Thats a little too much of a gas hog for me so I'm going to try to trade for a 318.

I get 15 MPG. That's with the tailgate down, the wind at my back, going down a hill, and no overweight passengers.

tailgate down doesnt help gas mileage

hey croatan_4man........ look into other possibilities before you trade in your truck. if you havent checked the typical Ram problems that cause low gas mileage, then check them before you sell. i say this because often times there is little to no difference in the 5.2 and 5.9 gas mileages. dont be too quick to trade in, you might end up with the same mileage and less power.

Yeah, I know it, I was just seeing how many people would catch it. My dad weighs 275 so the part about no overweight passengers was B.S. too.

Yea i posted somthing about getting better fuel eco. with a 5.9 and i was referred to some right-up on it. I don't know if im just stupid or what but i didn't get much from it.[:@] Its a 28 gallon tank and i get about 280 miles out of it. So thats around 10mpg. I had a Nissan pickup before my dodge with 6inches of lift and 33's. And i'm just used to paying a whole lot let for gas.
