Default front drive shaft

I have a 97 Ram 4x4 with a 5" lift. recently the front end vibrates like a bastard at around 25 30 mph and up and only in four wheel drive though. If I remove the drive shaft andput it infour wheel drive so the front end is all engaged there is no vibration. The Ujoint is good on the axle end and the double cardin joint ( CV joint) on the tranfercase end was rebuilt and did not improve anything. Both the the joints and the center ball were replaced, unless I didnt install the center ball properly.? Anyone have any other Ideas!!

Pinion angle? How far off is it with the 5" lift? Sometimes you can get vibration if the angle is off.

I dont think its the angle, it didnt do it when the lift first went in.

i dont thinks a 5" is high enough to throw off the pinion angle that bad

i bet your balencing (sp) weight came off your DS.. or needs to be greased (slip joint)

even tho the ujoints dont look that bad.. you never know..i had ujoints go on me and they looked fine then the shaft was still on the truck.. and sice your taking your shaft in and out of the truck.. wouldnt hurt to take a few hours and replace them... good preventative maintence

There arent any dents and it doesnt look like there are any weights missing. Everything has grease.
Might have to find one to swap in to try and see if it goes away.
