Default Lifting my truck

I am thinking about putting 2-3" lift on my truck. Any advice on what to be careful or watch out for as far as the mechanics of the truck...drive shaft etc?

thanks

Yup, I already have a 2" lift from Skyjacker, and changing it this weekend to a 3". If your interested in my 2" coils that are coming out of my truck, PM me. You would just need an AAL and shocks to go with it.

thanks guys for the info...still haven't decided on how high yet. i guess if i am going to lift it, might as well go for 3.

does it put a lot of stress on the drive train/tranny etc when you lift it?

The bigger tires you might want to run will put more stress on everything, ecspecially if you do not regear. Keep that in mind when you are deciding how big of a tire to run with that lift.
