Default HELP!! Is this from coolant in cyl?

Just left this AM for a business trip to S.C. and after fillin' er up, got on the Interstate and she was running awful. Just got back to the house and after researching the forum, pulled the #8 plug and found this-

Is this from coolant (i.e. cracked head, cyl)? I sure hope someone will tell me otherwise, or this may be the last days for my Dodge

well its fouled up nasty, but its not necessarily a sign of coolant. it looks to me like just residue from oil, or a little too rich.
how new is that plug ?
and did changing that plug fix your awful running engine ?
change all your plugs and see if it stays fixed or reoccurs.
check/fill radiator to see if you are losing coolant.
check oil for any milky water
drive it and see what happens.

I'll check on the coolant level/usage on this trip.
Did a quick tune up of what I could gather at the local parts stores -
Plugs
O2 sensors -both
Cap and rotor
Idle air solenoid

Changed all these and did remove the throttle body for a good cleaning. Cranked her up and she's 90% better. Did see a whole lot of oil in the plenum pan. Will be ordering the kit this week for install when I return.

Thanks for all the advise. Looks like just a 1 day delay in the trip and I get to keep my Dodge

How is your oil? Does it smell like coolant has gotten in there?

Oil with coolant in it looks like coffee and cream.
